Packaging / Branding / Unboxing Experience
 

The task – visual solutions to make the brand stand out among competitors on the site amazon.com and increase sales.
The work was divided into stages:
1) MARKET RESEARCH
As a first stage, I always explore the market, competitors and the product itself. This helps to objectively assess the prospect of launching a new brand and better understand the target audience for which the product is designed.
2) DISCUSSION OF IDEAS
After researching the market, the client was offered several ideas and visual concepts. One of which was supposed to be a sketch of the foot, depicted in an engraving style in contrast to modern minimalism. The client liked the idea and then we began developing the logo and packaging.

 

3) DEVELOPMENT OF LOGO AND PACKAGING CONCEPT
Logo development consisted of creating a visual concept that would be suitable both for packaging various goods and for use on amazon.com. Therefore, the client was offered one of the options in modern minimalism, with a horizontal outline. Since the client could not provide a photo of the product on the foot, an idea was proposed with a stylized sketch of the foot on which the product was successfully placed and highlighted.

 

4) QUALITY CONTROL
The most difficult and responsible final stage. Packaging production is located in China, and the task was to remotely control the printing process. Having developed a strategy of communication with Chinese printing houses and mandatory preliminary printing and assembly, the client received high-quality packaging. And the final visualization in the new packaging favourably highlighted the product and presented it well on the page with its competitors, that helped raise the sales.
